In this time lapse tutorial, Eugene will guide you through his proccess of designing an Alien Creature with Zbrush. You’ll see the character being built from a simple sphere to high subdivision detail. He’ll cover basic principles of design, and how to approach it from a symbolic perspective, discuss the tools and brushes used in the process, try some detail reprojecting tricks and discuss the effective techniques of adding micro details while keeping the design organic and coherent.
Apart from general modeling and design principles you’ll learn how to effectively utilize Zbrush’s layers system for skin detailing, learn to visually separate the surfaces from one another and see some more rare instruments hidden within ZPlugin menu.
